Tag Orders by Rule

/tag-orders  Finds orders matching a rule you describe and applies a tag in bulk after showing you the list.

Add to Sidekick

Add opens your Shopify admin with the skill prefilled; review it there and click Add. If nothing appears, use Copy and follow the steps below.

Personalize before you add

Values come from your store profile when set. Leave a field blank to keep the placeholder and fill it in Sidekick.

The skill

Suggested shortcut: /tag-orders
Tag orders that [RULE] with the tag "[TAG]".

## Steps
1. Restate the rule in precise terms (statuses, dates, products, amounts, countries) and confirm the date range; default to the last 90 days.
2. Find matching orders. Show the count and the first 20 as a table: order number, date, customer, total, why it matched.
3. Ask for approval. Only after a clear yes, add the tag to every matched order without removing existing tags. Report how many were tagged.

## Output
The precise rule, the count, the sample table, then "Tag these [count] orders?"

Never remove tags in this skill. Never tag more than 500 orders in one run without asking again.
How to add it to Sidekick
  1. Click Add to Sidekick above. Your Shopify admin opens with the skill ready to review. Click Add. Done.
  2. If the button does nothing in your store: click Copy skill, open Sidekick in your admin, type /, choose Create new skill, name the shortcut tag-orders, paste the text as the instructions, and save.
  3. To run it, type /tag-orders in Sidekick. Sidekick keeps up to 25 skills; manage yours from the skills menu.
