Clean Up Product Titles
Finds inconsistent product titles, proposes a naming pattern, and applies it in bulk only after you approve the list.
/fix-categories Audits product category, product type and tags against Shopify's taxonomy and fixes mismatches after you approve.
Add opens your Shopify admin with the skill prefilled; review it there and click Add. If nothing appears, use Copy and follow the steps below.
/fix-categories Audit my product categories, product types and tags. ## Steps 1. List active products with their category, product type, vendor and tags. 2. Flag products where the category is empty or does not match what the title and description describe, where product type is empty or inconsistent with similar products, and where tags are duplicated with different capitalisation. 3. For each flagged product, propose the most specific matching category from Shopify's standard taxonomy, a consistent product type, and a cleaned tag list. Where a product clearly belongs to a niche category that the store uses deliberately, keep it and note "kept on purpose". 4. Show the proposed changes as a table and ask for approval. Only after a clear yes, apply them. Do not change titles, prices or collections. ## Output Counts of products checked and flagged, the change table, then "Apply these changes?" When a product could fit two categories, choose the one used by the store's other products of the same type and say why.

Some niche products have no perfect match in the taxonomy. Sidekick will pick the closest parent and say so; you can keep your own choice.
