Sidekick's 25-skill limit: how to choose your 25

Twenty-five sounds like plenty until you have saved 25 and want a 26th. A little structure keeps the list useful.

Split by how often you run it

Keep a few slots free for seasonal skills such as the BFCM pack, and delete them in January.

Name shortcuts so they sort well

• Two or three lowercase words, hyphenated, under 20 characters.
• Start with the noun you will think of: orders-today not today-orders, flow-low-stock so all Flow builders sit together.
• Avoid near-duplicates like sales and sale.

Skills that replace several

/brand-voice removes the need for separate “write a description”, “write an email” tone instructions. /flash-sale replaces a collection skill, a discount skill and an email skill for that use case. Prefer compound skills for sequences you always run together.

Use the planner

The planner holds your candidate list, warns about shortcut clashes and shows slots used. Share the link with teammates so everyone starts from the same set.
